Hierarchy LOAD

Hi,

Client wants a Tree View in a List Box, qlikable on all levels. Is it possible to do that from an .qvd file?

I have attached an example with 5 levels (1, 2...5) and a corresponding .qvd.

Best regards

Hi Toby,

Check the application attached. It has required some cleanup because of the Hierarchy node value numeric values, but hope it helps.

Hi,

Not really - they want something like my _Konto, a List Box in Tree View. But it has to be selectable on all levels...

Best regards

Great solution!

Is there a smart way to connect the hierarcy to the facts table? Before I used the KTO_ID to connect to a table with verifications and all date...

Best regards

Hi Torbjörn,

Now that you have the hierarchy, the lowest node should be linkable to the fact table, assuming that it's about Accounting and each line of the ledger entry has the account (that is actually the lowest level in the hierarchy).

Hope that makes sense.
