Hi,

Just use Notepad, Wordpad, or any other text editor. QVS files are plain text files, with a different extension that TXT.

Hope that helps.

Hi Meriem,

as external editor for my QVS files I user Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.1.2.html

and if you want you can install the syntax highlighting http://qvacb.googlecode.com/files/qlikview-lang-def-v0.2.xml

look this post http://www.qlikviewaddict.com/2012/05/qlikview-for-notepad-update.html to know how to install the syntax highlighting.

Dear Meriem,

You can open "QVS" extension file in any editor, for example notepad, notepade++ or adobe dreamweaver as well.

In the same way you can create the file with extension by using ".qvs" extension instead of ".txt".

For example:

Save your file "YourFileName.qvs"
