list box conditional view

I have selections list boxes which shows e.g. all available departments of employees.

What I am looking for is a possibility that when a department is not in use in selected Year/Month, this department will be hide instead of a gray colored right now.

Do somebody know how to provide this ?

Use "Hide Excluded" in the List Box Properties (first tab).

Thanks and almost what I am looking for  Now are the values indeed hided, but the rows are still in the list.
e.g.

Instead of a listbox try using a table box and format it like a listbox.

Hi  , try this

=Aggr(Only({<fieldname=>}fieldname),fieldname)

Or

=Aggr(Only(fieldname),fieldname)

this will filter the values depending on the year/ month selected and u will not see the gray data..
