qlikview starting

i'm new to qlikview, i downloaded the tool when i try to open a new document in qlikview there were no documents show in the folder, but actually the thing is that there were many documents how can i solvve it

If you are using QlikView and not Qlik Sense - I suggest you take a look at this location here:

If this does not help you, please include some steps and screen shots of what you are attempting to do that best describes the problem.

my laptop is a 32bit windows7, i installed qlikview its working and every thing is fine for now, but when i try to open a document when following the tutorial (i also installed documents required for the tutorial) i couldn't open the document i couldn't find the document where it is what is ODBC, OLE DB any thing to with them please help me out. i'm at initial stage of opening a document following the tutorial.(i could not find the document stated in the tutorial)

Search for Qlikview Reference Manual PDF in the community and download it which is the Qliktech tutorial. 

or if you want to by others pdfs then buy Qlikview 11 for Developers from Amazon or Packet publishing.

Getting Started wizard- >Examples->click on Getting Started then u can find so many examples.

If u ant to see Recently opened items more than default then u can made change

Settings->User preferences->General->Most Resently used files->On Start Page->64..u r wish
