How do I apply conditions to individual columns in a QlikView pivot table heat map ?

Hi,

I have a QlikView dashboard (called Sales) with a pivot table displaying as a heat map. Currently, the conditions test against the cell values for the whole of the pivot table (including the Totals column).

My horizontal axis (columns) uses a dimension called 'Employee ID', which displays as 9 columns. I would like to apply a different test on each column, rather than a single test on all columns.

Is it possible to apply different tests to specific columns ?

Thanks

MV

Use Straight Table.....with 9 Different Expression and give color condition to each one differently....

Count ({<EmployeeID = {1}>}ProductID)

Count ({<EmployeeID = {2}>}ProductID)

etc....

Hi Manish,

I'm afraid it has to be a pivot table. A straight table is not what I'm after.

Any suggestions ?

It's not possible to give different color condition if you use pivot table...

Many thanks Srinivasu. That was very helpful. Rather a lot of information in that thread but I got there eventually.

Hi Manish,

Thanks for your reply but you were wrong. It can be done. Maybe you should have said, "I don't know !"

I actually understood wrong... I thought you want to give 9 different color condition to 9 different columns... !

Apologize for the same...
