Using a button to control a cyclic group expression?

Hi all,

I am very new and just learning Qlikview,

I am trying to use a button to control the cyclic group expression that exist in multiple charts. For example, I have two fields in a cyclic group for sales this year and sales last year, however, I have multiple charts that include different dimensions and I would like to create a button that would allow me to toggle between the expression within the cyclic groups that involve this years fields vs last years fields so that they change simultaneously.

Can this be accomplished with a button?

Hi Brian

You might want to think about doing this in a slightly different way.

Your button could toggle a variable, then use a conditional show to display this year or last year sales expressions. You could then display this year or last year in any chart, depending on the variable's value.

Just an idea.
