    De-Normalizing a dimension for multiple fields in a straight table

    Hello Qlikkers,

    I have a dataset like this-datasetdataset

    Now, I want to create a straight table in Qlik Sense that will have Race, CinemaStratum, CinemaPSU as dimensions and sum(UtilityWt) as measure. I want the straight table to look like this-

    expectedexpected

    But I want all the CinemaStratum and CinemaPSU to be included for each of the races. Even if some of the cinemaStratum/cinemaPSU does not have utilityWt, I want to be inserted in that row for the measure i.e. I want to have 10 rows(total no. of PSUs) for each of the races. All I have is the table below which does not include the missing stratums/PSUs.

    currentcurrent

    I am at my wits' end about how to proceed further. I have created an island table but with my little experience of data modeling I can't really connect it to the fact table and compare to include all the values. I don't even know if that's a feasible solution. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.I am really looking forward to hearing from all the experts here! I am attaching my dataset and application(please refer to sheet2) here for reference.

    Thank you.

    I have a calculated x-axis that ranges from -19.20 to 800.72. Usually in Qlik View we can use Axes --> scale --> Static Min; Static Max boxes to set ranges for x-axis. But dont know how to do it in Qlik sense?

    Infact I dont even have Range option showing up for my X-axis. Only for Y-axis I have my Range option.

    My calculated dimension is "=num(Minute/60 , '##.##' )"

    Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi, I know there are a number of threads that have been raised regarding aggregation in QV scripting and have looked through a lot of them to try and solve my issue.

    I have a fairly decent size data set stored in a QVD (7.5 million rows).

    I have written a load script to extract some of this data and aggregate it together.

    My source fields are PositionId, ForecastDate, ForecastHours

    on my initial load into a temp table I have -

    temp:

    Load

    PositionId,
    week(ForecastDate) as FWeek,
    ForecastHours

    From

    c:\datasource\data.qvd (qvd);

    I then have a final table -

    final:

    load
    PositionId,
    FWeek,
    sum(ForecastHours) as Fhours
    resident temp
    Group by PositionId, FWeek;

    Drop table temp;

    This should be as simple as can be, if I use a simple inline table as my source (with about 15 rows) I get the correct data out. However when I use my real data source my FWeek AND ForecastHours are  both showing incorrect.

    Hopefully someone has an idea of what I am doing wrong and how I can fix it.

    Thanks

    Chris

    I have column "Mx" with minutes as numbers and have column "sold (yes/no)" with number of items sold. When an item is sold, "sold (yes/no)" column will have "1" otherwise "0".

    I want to create a bar chart with hours in x-axis and number of Total items sold at a given hour in y-axis.

    At the moment I got

    dimension as hours "=interval(Mx/60,'h')" and

    Measure as "Count(sold (yes/no))"

    Above expression results in repetition of x-axis values (please see the attached image). How do I consolidate x-axis and display total count of sales every hour?

    The button have a borders because I've inserted a css code like this

    button code.PNG

    I've inserted that code because I  have a requirements regarding how the chart should look. But I also have a requirements that the buttons should not adapt the border and border color of a chart.

    I have searched and have not find one of any documentation or examples of configuring the css style of a navigation button.

    I hope it is configurable!

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    We started using the .net SDK in combination with the Qlik-Cli for Windows version for deploying apps to multiple streams.
    For every stream we would like to change some variables in the Data load editor. Is that possible with the SDK? I found some options for changing the script with the engine JSON api but not with the SDK.

    We have these 3 variables that we use to connect databases, we would like to change for every stream:

    let CustomerName = 'CustomerA'
    let DWH_CustomerName = 'DWH_CustomerA'
    let Source_CustomerName = 'Source_CustomerA'

    Would it be possible to search and replace these variable values in the load script?

    Kind Regards
