Hello QlikView users!
We are pleased to announce that QlikView 11.20 Service Release 5 [SR5] is now available for download on http://www.qlik.com/download.
As well as the usual fixes, SR5 contains enhanced Direct Discovery, a new mapping extension and support for Sharepoint 2013, Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11. Please take special note of page 4 in the release notes - QlikView Mixed Values interpretation (i.e. a string such as 1e2 or 3d4). SR5 introduces the ability for the QlikView developer to specify how QlikView interprets strings as numeric.
