The Global Support team host monthly webinars on various subjects, covering issues which we see reported to us in support.

The Techspert Thursday Webinars are really well attended and next week we are hosting a webinar called Unbalance your Qlikview Cluster.

As of July 5th 2016 all Support related to QVSource, now known as "Qlik Web Connectors", will be handled by the Qlik Support team.

For you as a customer this means that you from this date should use the Qlik Support Portal for all topics related to Support.

It is a pretty small but important release, as you can see in the release notes attached here.

Hello all

We are pleased to announce that Qlik Sense 3.0 is now available on our download site.

This is a big release that comes with several new features, for example:

  • Visual Data Preparations
  • Visual Search
  • Time aware charting
  • Qlik "widgets" - to extend Qlik Sense functionality

 

On top of that we are also including:

  • Qlik Nprinting 17.1 - now supporting Qlik Sense
  • Qlik Web Connectors - over 20 new connectors for on-premise, cloud and web based data sources
  • Qlik Datamarket - New financials data packages and lower-level data in essentials package
  • A new Service Release for Qlikview 12 called SR4. Read the release notes on the download page.

Qlik Sense Cloud will be unavailable for maintenance beginning Monday, June 27th, 2016 at 4:00PM EST (22:00 CET).

The upgrade is expected to take approximately 6 hours.

As announced at Qonnections in Florida, Qlik has acquired the company Industrial CodeBox and their connector product QVSource.

Existing QVSource customers should continue to contact Industrial CodeBox for support, using either http://qvsource.com or support@qvsource.com until the official transition to Qlik happens on July 5th 2016.

Hello Qlik Users!

 

Effective October 1, 2015, Qlik will no longer sell the QlikView Expressor product and all renewal activity will cease.  Customers may continue to use Expressor, but maintenance and support services will cease on May 31, 2016 in accordance with our current maintenance and support policy.

 

All outstanding Expressor quotes, which have been approved as of October 1, will be honored. However, for prospects interested in the capabilities offered by Expressor, our guidance is to instead direct those prospects to alternate Qlik partner-based solutions such as Alteryx or Lavastorm.

 

For the small number of existing maintenance and support contracts, which terminate after May, 2016, those support contracts will be honored through the end of the contract term.

 

Any individual customer contractual licensing and pricing obligations in effect beyond October 1, 2015 for Expressor will also be honored.  However, the same guidance to steer customers to partner-based solutions is applicable.

 

Existing Customers with a renewal date later than October 1st has individually been notified via email.
