Is it possible to make a Spatial Join in Qlik Sense?

Hi,

Not so new to Qlik Sense, but not familiar at all with spatial queries.

I have one table with Areas and another table with Points. They are not related. I would like to aggregate Points over Areas, preferably by adding an Area Name field to each Point. Is that possible in Qlik Sense?

Apologies if this has already been answered. If that's the case, please share the link.

Thanks,

Hi,

Can you attach some sample data and your expected output, so that it would be easier to understand and provide the solution.

Regards,

Jagan.

Thanks Jagan

I’ll keep it simple:

Points: Identifier, KPI 1, KPI 2, …, KPI n, Latitude, Longitude.

Area is a KML file: Area Name, Area boundaries.

My goal is to aggregate KPIs over Areas. One possible solution I can think of is a Join where I attach the Area Name to Points:

Identifier, KPI 1, KPI 2, …, KPI n, Latitude, Longitude, Area Name.

I hope it is clearer now.
