Installation of Qlik Sense on Windows Server Foundation Edition

Hi!

Does anybody has experience with installing Qlik Sense on Windows Server 2012 R2 Foundation Edition?

It should be supported by Qlik (because this is just a version of Windows Server) but just to be sure.

Windows Server 2012 R2 is supported.

I don't know if "Foundation Edition" is a special edition or something.

Hello Onno,

Foundation edition is version of Windows Server that is supporting only one processor. If additional processor should be added, Windows Server Standard Edition must be purchased. That's the info that i got.

Out of the documentation about Qlik Sense Enterprise that I use for my training:

Requirement: Multi-core x64 compatible processor.

That would mean that Qlik Sense will work on a server with 1 processor, as long as it is a multi-core processor.
