Qlikview - Hadoop

Hi All, 

I am stuck in middle of Connecting Qlikview with Hadoop Hive. Below is the Scenario in detail.

I have installed Cloudera Hive ODBC Driver 2.5.0 and authentication mechanism as Kerberos.

I have successfully installed and is working fine. We are able to connect Hadoop Hive for data extraction but we are facing an issue where when authenticating Kerberos we retrieve a ticket with validity of 1 day (maximum). I am interested to have a solution where life time ticket can be generated in Kerberos.

I am restricted to work with Kerberos only.

if there is any alternative way to Connect Hadoop please share!!!!

Hi Chanty,

Thanks for your Promt reply. I had tried this link but still my Security Mechanism is Kerberos. Could you help me in this how to retrieve a ticket automatically while connectioning or how can I by pass this Ticketing ?

Hi Kush,

I need to connect Hadoop HIVE with Kerberos only as security Mechanism any help on Kerberos ticking will be helpful.

Hi Kush,

This still generates tickets for maximum limit of 10 Hr.

Is there any solution from CMD Command where It will trigger it ?
