We have upgraded our test environment to QlikView 12 and the QMC is empty. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Does this happen on all browsers or only IE ?
Check if the issue is specific to browser, user, machine ?
IF only IE: try to clear all IE cache ; temporary and history files.
