Restricting access using the QAP

Hello,

I currently am using on my website the QAP of the Qlik Sense, so that my users can view on my website graphs that were created in QLIK. My question is, I can restrict some kind of access using the QAP? For example, users no longer see certain graphics options, such as changing the year? some users manage to change the year and others do not. I have met something called Qlik Section Access, but do not know how to link the QAP with Section Access, it is possible that I'm asking?

Best regards,

Tiago Rocha

At this point I'm still in the initial phase ie in terms of code have little or nothing to have on my external website have only:

<Iframe width = "100%" height = "650px" src = 'http: // XXXXXXXXXX / single appid = 2,095,478th-a138-4994-b41b-5e57db6647bd & sheet = MCv rF & opt = currsel select = clearall' frameborder = '0'> </ iframe>

It is possible via GET send some information on the Iframe link and filter this information? for example, sellers get only see their customers?

I've read so much that I'm already half lost.

Hi Tiago,

Yes you can send in selections in the URL for single. But that is not a safe way to restrict access, because a user might figure out how to remove or change those. Use section access for restricting access, it works the same in QAP.

Hope this helps

Erik

Hello Eric Wetterberg,

Can you give me some link or pdf to help me set up the sense Qlik?

Thank you very much.

Hello again Eric Wetterberg,

I thank you for your help. One thing that I am not able to see whether it works or not, and maybe you can help me. I have a user named QlikComercial, and I wanted that when my sellers do log into my external application and access the page that will can visualize the Qlik graphics through the QAP that will ask for authentication on Qlik and users will log with QlikComercial. My question is, after login with QlikComercial (where all my vendors will log in with the same user in Qlik, QlikComercial) it is possible that despite having the same sign in the sense Qlik and being with different logins in my application, they see the data of their customers? ie restrict customers to who is logged in my application. For example, there customers, cA, cB and cC, have two vendors (vA and Vb) with different logins in my application but will share the same login in Qlik the QlikComercial. And the seller vA can see data cA and cB customers however vB seller can only see customer data cC. this all sharing the same account Qlik and of course being the iframe the same.
