I have qlikview 64 bit installed and oracle 32 bit installed.so whenever I make connection I do force 32.is upgrading my oracle installation to 64 bit the only solution to this

If you are running 64 bit OS, then you could choose either 32-bit or 64 -bit edition of Qlikview.

What is the problem your are facing here, of course checking Force 32 is even better because qlik advices to do that
other wise you have to go for a 64 bit as you said if you are facing any issues.

You can used force 32bit option if you had installed 32bit driver.

I would not recommend installing a 32-bit version of QlikView, as 32-bit apps are restricted to 2GB of RAM.
You can use both 32-bit and 64-bit drivers to connect to both 32-bit and 64-bit oracle database servers. All use the same communication protocol.
