Token Question

Our installation has 5 tokens for our Dev Environment.

One token was allocated for the service account that we originally used to install the server.  That user account will never actually login to the QMC or the HUB now that we are up and running.  So I want to take that token and allocate to another user.

If I take that token away from this account will it cause any issues with our installation?

It seems like I should be able to do this.  But I want to make sure.

Hi Mark,

The service account doesn't need token to running QlikSense.

If you deallocate that token, it won't affect running QlikSense.

Is it possible to you need waiting a few days to be able to reallocate that token.

Nope, none whatsoever. Access to the QMC is driven by security rules whereas access to the Hub is driven by the availability of a token then by security rules.

Think back to when you installed Qlik Sense Server, you were able to access the QMC in order to be able to allocate a token hence token allocation cannot be related to QMC access.
