Using multiple set modifiers in a set expression

Hi community,

I have a viz with:

dimension: year

measure: sales broken down by product type (the colors represent different product types)

Chart 1:

sales by time.PNG

below that i have a KPI viz that tells me sales for 2015 & 2014

Chart 2:

KPI sales.PNG

How do i create a set modifier for 2014 and 2015 sales in the KPI chart(Chart 2) such that only a product segment selection from chart 1 above affects it but not the year selection..

The year should be fixed at 2014 and 2015 in Chart 2, but if I select the blue segment from anywhere in Chart 1 it should give sales for blue segment in 2014 and 2015 in Chart 2

And if you make a selection in chart 1, this should select from field Year and [Product Type], right?

And your second chart should modify the year selections using your set expressions, so only [Product Type]

will be considered from your user selections.

This is not what you get?

Tat's right. If i Select blue product type for year 2012(or any other year for that matter) from chart 1, it should still show me 2015 and 2014 sales for blue product type in chart 2(KPI Chart) respectively

Can you post a screenshot which field values get selected when you are the blue product type for year 2012?

(i.e. a screen shot that also shows the selection bar)
