Hi,
I am using Nprinting designer 16.2 and whenever i try to bring objects into Nprinting like adding a table or a level ; Nprinting hangs along with qlikview desktop.
I have to manually kill it from the task manager. When checking it in the task manager there is adequate ram in the system but the processor utlization jumps to 100% and stays there like forever .
If anybody could help me into this .
Regards,
Nadeem
I wonder if the qvw is in a remote server? Or maybe it is crashed?
I had it once and I restart my computer and it is working.

Hello Nadeem,
One thing you might want to try is to open the QVW file locally rather than going through qvp:// You will gain in stability in the case you experience timeouts with the QlikView server.

Hello Philippe,
Thanks for your reply .
The qvw document is on the local machine where the designer is installed .

the qvw is on the local machine , tried restarting the machine but no use ..
Hi Nadeem,
Take a look at the article linked to below. Use it as a check-list and ensure that your system complies with all the requirements. Pay attention to supported QlikView editions, CALs etc.
Requirements for NPrinting 14 and following versions up to NPrinting 16
Does this happen to all report types or only MS Office? If this happens only to MS Office report templates I would try to repair Office.

Hi Daniel ,
thanks for replying .
I went through the link you posted and i am sure the system complies with all the minimum requirements .
I checked it out by trying to create an html or a pixel perfect report but its the same issue .
However i have figured out that once i reduce my data in my qvw application i am able to create reports with the designer , but i fail to understand why that is a cause as my qvw file (before data reduction) is only 85 MB in size .
Regards,
Nadeem
HI anybody with any solution on this
may be it's hanged due to data try to limit data
The qvw is just 85 MB in size . Reducing data would just be a workaround .
