NPrinting scheduler stopped

Hello Everyone.

I can schedule a job to run in NPrinting Designer, Start it manually from within designer and everything seems to work fine. However, once I exit Designer, the log file shows "Scheduler stopped" and the job will not start when it is supposed to. Any suggestions?

In designer you need to trigger it manually to automate it we have the NPrinting server .

Donn't close the NPrinting Designer, Start it manually but don't close or exit  it that is the only solution with Designer

you need to use the server to make it automated

Thank you for the note.

I have the nsq file loaded in the NPrinting Management Console, so I expected it to run according to scheduler. I didn't think that I needed to leave Designer running. Plus, and I don't know if it makes a difference, we are using Remote Desktop Connection to access the NPrinting functions.

Hi Tom,

If you have NPrinting Server, which you apparently do, you do not need to leave Designer running to run scheduled jobs. When you add the NSQ to the server and start the services you should see the schedules listed in the Monitoring Tool. I suggest that you go through these guides to ensure that you have everything setup correctly first:
