Nprinting Email

I still can not get nPrinting to send an email. 

The only place that I see to put in email settings is in the management console under Admin/Settings. (I am using v 17)

Is there any other place to set this up or test it?  I see screen prints from older versions where there were a lot more settings and a Test button. 

The np log has a line that says it sent an email.

IT has confirmed that the SMTP server would not be blocking any emails.

Any suggestions on what else I can look at?

Hi Mark,

In the log you are probably seeing Send e-mail for bucket xyz...Ask your SMTP server administrator for the log and take a look at that.

In order to test I would try SMTP4Dev. It is a dummy SMTP server that runs on Windows 7/Vista/XP/2003/2010. It will not actually send out e-mails but will receive them so you can test if NPrinting 17 is sending them out.

I just found this error.  In the webengine log:

TLS handshake error from (then IP6 address it looks like)

I also see

Form login failed.  Invalid credentials for email (my email address)

Does this help any?

I think that IT fixed the problem.  I think it was a problem with the setup for the email server.  The QS server was not authorized to forward emails.  I am not 100% sure.  But have your IT guys check the email server setup.
