QlikView Server suddenly crashes

Hi!

I have noticed that, sometimes, the QlikView Server service suddenly crashes giving no information in the Event Viewer (I'm using version 9.0 SR6). The only thing I can do is to restart the service using the Control Panel applet. There is a log which can help me understanding the reason of this behaviour?

Thanks in advance.

Hi!

In this directory there is an Event_SERVERNAME.log file, but it isn't updated (its last modified date is 2010). I must change the logging level of QlikView Server?

HI luca

In QEMC go to system tab--> setup --> Qlikview Server --> logging --> make sure that

In log level

Enable session logging

Enable performance logging every X minutes

Enable event logging

Enable audit logging of client activity

all of them are checked

and in Event log verbosity

select high

restart the services of qlikview.

then after perfoming some activity check for log

this might help you

Hi!

OK, thank you, I have set the option you point me out. Now I'm trying to see if I can investigate the error.

Regards.
