Variable in excel text box - Nprinting 16

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to have a qlikview variable or Nprinting Formula in an excel text box ?

I have a Qlikview variable vCurrentMonth = Month(Today()) I want to type title of the table in different colours like below

excel screenshot.PNG

Issue I am facing :

When I formate the text in one cell

  • then it is printing the variable value in the output
  • but the entire cell font colour comes in one colour

When I formate the text in a text box

  • then it is not printing the variable value in the output

Hi Lokesh ,

Create formula using this variable , and add this formula to your excel. and in whatever cell you will use this formula , change the text color using excel toolbox in your template.

Thanks Agnivesh,

I tried creating formula and named it as month

and expression was =Date(Today())

I formatted the text in different colour but it sill prints the entire string in same colour

Strange but it works for me.

Try to create new template just for sample , and check .

Still can not fix it.. Variable & function colours are working fine in powerpoint text boxes but only not working in the excel text box.

I think I will have to live with it for rest of my time on this project !
