Reload task changes "Users Authorized to Access Document"

Hello

I have a task that Distrubutes a document to a Qlikview Server ("Distribute to Qlikview Server") -> to "All Authenticated Users"

For that same document, I have configured as follows"

QMC -> Documents -> User Documents -> "Document Name" -> Authorization TAB -> "Users Authorized to Access Document" -> "Named Users"

However, when the reload task runs, the "Users Authorized to Access Document" is changed from "Named Users" to "All Authenticated Users".

Can someone please explain why this occurs?

**Note**

I have other tasks configured that distribute my documents, via "Distribute to Folder" to "All Authenticated Users", but these tasks do not change the Authorizations I have set up on each user document.

Hi,

When you select to user "Name Users" do you setup the users?

Hi Bill

Yes, when I select, "Named Users". I select the users from the relevant directories that we have configured within Qlikview.

Hi

Have you found a solution to this? I'm having the same issue where I set authorization to "All Authenticated" but after a distribute it changes back to Named Users.

We are on an OEM license with Session CALs.

My distribute task is set up to Loop in Field and then I distribute to a server with mounted folder.

Hi,

If you are making these settings under User Document Tab, they will be replaced with the setting from the Distribution task.

Hi

Thanks for the info.

I am however not using manual distribute, I'm using "Loop Field in Document" which doesn't allow the administrator to specify user type.

Only the Manual distribution method allows one to specify a user type:

Unless I'm seriously missing something somewhere....

Hope all the CAL you have assigned is in User document folder. you need provide the same settings in source document. what ever the settings enabled in source document will be distributed to user document folder.

due to this your access has gone.

Hi,

Try to distribute file using  folder option (User Document), instead of  Qlikview Server.
