How publishing a QV document on server

Hi,

I have installed QV Server + Publisher + QV Web Server on a VM. I have tried to open on server from my PE on my machine successfully.

Now, I would like to publish a document on server. How do I do it, please?

Hello,

In the Management Console (there are two, I use the Enterprise) you can set a root folder, where your documents are going to be available to users with permissions. Check in the QEMC System, Setup, QlikView Servers, expand and click on yours, and on the right side, Folders.

Copy any document there, and use http://youserverIPorname/qlikview to get to the Accesspoint, so you can see all available documents (by default, those stored in and under the root folder as specified above).

I guess there should be an option to upload the document to the server directly from the QV Desktop.

It can be as easy as creating a mapped drive to the correct location.
