Qvf files created in Qliksense Desktop vs Qliksense Server

Hi All,

Just checking with Qliksense , I came to know that qvf files can be created in both Desktop and Sense Server hub. I just want to know any differences between in features or any other in creating a qvf file from these two environments.

Hi,

There are no differences in features. You get all the functionality in both the environment.

Desktop can be used for a personal use, where as for enterprise Server should be used. Because Manageability is better at Server side.

one of the main difference you cant test the section access in desktop  version

section access can be tested in the server only

another one difference when you are creating mashup in desktop it will be visible to you

but if you create a mashup in server then you can pass the url in the server so that every one can be

extension and all you have to import from desktop to server some of the extension it wont work same thing what you are usiing in your deskop you have to delete the readme and github and license file in that folder then you have to zip it again

these are the main difference
