How does qlikview store data in primary memory(RAM) internally? and But RAM is not a permanent storage how does it store can u briefly explain anyone?
The data is stored in the QVW (the QlikView application) on your disk. The moment someone wants to use the app, the data gets copied to memory.
What are you trying to asking? Can you please let me know what are you expecting?
Every qvw has one size. Each file stored into local machine. This time the file has required some memory. Still you want to see where this RAM occupy just check your performance of your settings
Have a look here: Symbol Tables and Bit-Stuffed Pointers.

Hi Rambabu,
Qlikview stores any data in RAM in the format of 0,1(Zero's and One's).
RAM will store data but it is not calculated first ,
when ever user changes his selections then only calculation will done
and those calculations are stored in RAM so for next user same calculation will give no need to calculate next time.
like that we call this(Qlikview) as a In Memory tool
Advantage:- For the first time only it took some time next time on-wards from RAM it fetches data so it is too fast.
