Qlik Sense Question

Hi All,

I have some questions about the Qlik Sense Platform:

1. When some object or extensions is not working in Qlik Sense Desktop, how we ensure it is the extensions problem rather than Qlik Sense problem?

2. Currently, I using Qlik Sense Desktop version 2.2.4 and I would like to connect to Qlik DataMarket, but in my Add Data option doesn't have any option to let me connect to the Qlik DataMarket. Anyone has the same problem with me?

Hi Phaneedra,

I able to solve this problem by download the setup again from partner download site and repair it.

Hi I am running on 2.2.4 as well, but i have an option to select data from "Data Market".

Are you sure you sure on 2.2.4? also where did you downloaded the desktop?

I have downloaded from the partner download site where usually you can download server, or other versions. Not sure if that matters for the desktop if we download from Qlik site "TRY or BUY".


Here is what i see in my desktop.

I also download the Qlik Sense from partner  download site as well, but I can't see the Qlik DataMarkey connectivity.

That is strange. I don't think there is an option to un check not to install Data Market while installation or after installation.

Can you try installing on a different machine and see? If it is across then you can open up a support ticket with qlik.

Glad it this is resolved. May be EXE file is corrupted or something? I don't think desktop software will vary based on where you download.
