How to set a default value for a filter?

Hi,

I have a region filter with values ALL, North, South, East and West. I want the default value to be ALL when I open the app, and also be able to make different selections later on. When the app first loads, the values in the visualizations should be for ALL filter value by default.

How can I achieve this?

Can you clarify what you mean by "Interactions between sheets of the same app?"

In Sense there is a single common set of data underlying the whole application, so selections and filters apply to the whole data model and all sheets, unless overridden by set expressions.

Filters applied on one sheet are valid everywhere until changed.

You can use the Selections Tool (Ttop right corner) to see the current selections

They don't exist in Qlik Sense.  Just QlikView.

I have not confirmed this 100% because it has not been consistent for me.  But I think if you set a filter to a value and then you publish the app that the filter will stick.  That is what happens in QlikView.

If that doesn't work you can create bookmarks for the users for each set of values and train them how to use these.
