SSL certificate question in Qlik Sense environement

Hello,

We have a valid wildcard certificate for the *.somename.com domain that we can issue a new certificate for that domain very quickly. That domain however is different than our internal Active Directory domain which ends in .local though. Does the certificate need to match the internal domain name of the server? Since we are no longer able to obtain certificates from a 3rd party using a .local domain name, is it possible for us to use an internal certificate authority that is trusted throughout the domain?

Thanks in advance

The certificate should match how users will actually access the hub. So if the user access the Hub via https://analytics.company.com then the cert will need to either be issued to analytics.company.com or *.company.com. The internal name of the server and the end user URL may be correlated but needn't be the same.
