Polygon map in Qlik sense

When we create polygon map with Qlik sense, we could use KML file.

Is there any other choice to create polygon map without KML file?

Is it possible to use KMZ file?

Is it possible to use shapefile?

If we put a map into Qlik mashup, is there any method to improve the map loading speed?

Any suggestion is appreciated!

KMZ is merely a zipped KML file. Unzip it and you have a KML file.

Shapefiles are not natively supported. You need an extension like Idevio, Geoqlik or Qlikmaps for that.

When we create polygon map with KML file in Qlik sense. Does the KML file size impact the map loading speed? For example, we can  create a simple US state map with a KML of 1MB, or use KML file about 10MB, will the KML file impart map loading either in Qlik sense desktop environment or Qlik server environment?

Thanks!
