You need to have an active QlikView Desktop license on every NPrinting engine machine.

At the risk of stating the obvious.......you will need to have a licensed QlikView Desktop instance on every NPrinting engine machine that you want to use to connect to QVWs. If you don't have QlikView Desktop on an NPrinting engine machine, it will still connect to Qlik Sense if required.

Hi Daniel, Just to clarify this one.

Is this license required to get it working? (does it look for license or it is just required to be able to open QlikView document?)

What if i have QlikView personal edition installed and NPrinting is running under the same user and  I used this user to create my QlikView app and NPrinting report?.

If license is required just to open document than i would get away without license, right?

Obviously this is just theory and in real environment you would need a license.

Hi Lech,

Licensed QlikView Desktop is required - this is actively checked. If you try to use Personal Edition you will get a license error in the logs.
