Local directory is not taking Username and Password

I have the exact same problem as described in this thread

(That thread is only found by Google and not by the internal search so I cannot respond on that one)

First I successfully added a local directory, removed it and added a configurable ODBC.

Now I want to have the local directory as well but it says invalid credentials.

Why?

Worked after removing all DSC's, restarting the service and then adding them again, this time starting with the local directory.
