I'm not sure how we can show/hide a chart with a button in Qlik Sense. It is quite complicated but maybe achievable.

However I'll suggest another option to you, it will same like buttons but like 'Container' option in Qlikview.

Check below links

Qlik Branch

Qlik Branch

Note: For the second link extension to work, you need to add charts to Master Item and it will available for you in dashboard.

Search 'Tabs' in Qlik Branch to find any related extensions similar to container.

Thanks.

Hi

Fallow this link

http://marketing.agilos.com/extensions/variablebutton

File userform and download the extension

Fallow installation instruction :

To add this extension to your Qlik Sense desktop environment, just unzip the files in your extension folder (“C:\Users\\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions”) and restart your Qlik Sense desktop.

To add this extension to your Qlik Sense server environment, upload the zip file directly from the Management Console

note that this extension allow to swith between bar chart and Pie chart not pivot table

Note also there is no extension actually that allow to change from barchart to pivot table in qlik sense

Not applicable

Hi Kavita,

What you are looking for this happens in Qlik View not in Qlik Sense. Qlik Sense has a different way of visualization,Complete replica is not possible in these two products.

Hi Kavita,

I resolve that problem with creating separate charts and show it only if variable = required value.

Example:

1. Create variable vChartType and set it to 0.

2. Copy your chart and change type.

3. Set the same position of chart.

4.a. First chart. Set the conditional show to vChartType = 0

4.b. Second chart. Set the conditional show to vChartType = 1

5. Create a TextBox and add Action to External / Set Variable.

5.a. In the name write vChartType

5.b. In expression write =if(vChartType=0,1,0) !

Kavita,

I'm not sure how to achieve your requirement. In Qlikview we can do it by Fast Change option or also by assigning Buttons which has actions for show and hide object based on object ID.

In Qlik Sense we're limited with Conditional expression.

The screenshot which you provided doesn't explain how it can be achieved (after doing extensive research many of the developers and experts here say it cannot be achieved, can't hide an object).

We do not have this feature in Qlik Sense. I've already tried show/hide using object ID and it doesn't work. So your best option is use as a container as I've said previously. Qlik Sense is more User friendly and for developers not everything is same as Qlik View, we're limited.

Maybe it can be achieved by Mashups? I'm not sure... You can try that.

Thanks.
