Follow the following steps:

1. Gateway of tally - Display - list of accounts,

2. click on export

3. screen will open - "exporting list of ledger"

File name will required, can be anything

4 formats are available for selection ASCll, excel, html, xml

Now Importing data:

1) make sure company is created where you will import the master, if company not selected, load the company - then select import masters.

2) Type in the file name. the name and the path of the source file should match

There is no provision for direct extraction of data from Tally.ERP9 to QlikView.

However, there are 2 possibilities for extraction;

Step 1: You can extract data from Tally to SQL Server (database) then finally push the data into QlikView.

OR

Step 2: We have a product called Tally Connector, get linked with Tally and then extract, analyze and place the data in the SQL Server database so that it can be used for the BI Tools like QlikView. A single click on a tab can help users import data and information using the Single Object Access Protocol (SOAP) API.
