Rest Connector and Google Analytics

Has anyone had any luck with the Rest Connector and connecting to the Google Analytics.  I get the connection made perfectly.  The problem is then trying to parse the data in Qlik Sense to make it usuable.

I am using the getdata api

I put in ga:sessions, ga:pageviews as the metric

I put in ga:usertype, ga:year, ga:month, ga:day

Date ranges 2016-06-01 through yesterday.

It creates the string to I can make the connection.  I get the Authorization id.  No Keys.  It connects fine.

The problem is when it comes back it is in an array with one row:

Usertype

Year

Montth

Day

Sessions

Pageviews

I am sure I have to create a pivot table or something but dont know where to begin.  Can anyone give me some pointers?

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

Have you looked into our QVSource connectors?

They enable very rich Google Analytics queries.

‌I have but I thought that Qlik bought them and they are no longer supported or can give you a trial version.  Is that not correct.

Yes, Qlik has bought QV Source and we directly support the connectors.

I would connect with your Account Manager and ask for a trial.
