Sense duplicate app clears master items

When I duplicate Qlik Sense application on server all master items are lost. The list is empty. Is it a bug?

The case is:

• I develop and publish application
• I want to change something
• I duplicate the application to edit
• No master items in new application.

Could you suggest any solution?

Was this indeed a bug? because when the master items are not published, it's really hard to create a working test version.

So, i duplicate the version that is in a production stream. Do some changes. And then publish it to a "test/acceptant-stream" .. then half of my chart will not be working because of missing the master items

I worked around this by re-importing the underlying .qvf file from the App folder on the server. This way all master items as well as community sheets etc. are maintained in the document.
