same value, multiple lines

Hi,

May I ask your assistance, how will I fix this concern, please?

Record Type
PurP
Purp
purp
ShpA
Shpa
shpa

My output should be (together with other details connected to this column) 2 rows only (PurP and Shpa) regardless if  they are recorded in different format. How will I combined each of the record types?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Michelle

Hi,

You can use upper() function in script. https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/12.0/Subsystems/Client/Content/Scripting/StringFunctions/Upper....

If you are so sensitive about exact letters you need to use if statements in load script.

Either do Lower() or Upper().

Thanks
