Dynamic Naming in NPrinting with Customer Name

Hi All,

I have created an Excel report in NPrinting and it combines 3 different QlikView applications (linked field being account number).

I'm using the customer Dynamic Naming using:

Report name

A variable for month and year

Cycle Field for Customer Number

I've been trying to use a variable for Customer Name, however this field is giving me blanks.

Any advice on how to get customer name also in there also please? (Alpha Name is my customer name field, but I'm not allowed to selected field in the Items for Dynamic Naming)

You can only include field names when they are used in a cycle.

Try creating a variable for Customer Name; using something like vCustomerName = [Customer Name] should work but test in a text box to check.

Then it will be available to you as a variable for the dynamic name.

I tried the vCustomerName way without any luck, I guess I can create a Linked field with account name and number, if they really need the customer name on the report.

I created a cycle field as you suggested and that works fine.
