DateRange Picker

Hi,

I'm looking for a Date range picker in Qlik sense, which will work in Sense server 3.0 and above.

The ones in the branch don't work.

Anyone a suggestion?

Unfortunately if none of them work you will either have to create your own or hope that Qlik comes out with one in the near future.

You can also create a filter on your date field and in the search box at the top you will have to type in your expression for the date range that you want to see.  A pain.  But it works.

But maybe your other solution works. Is this a normal filterfield? Do you have an example of how it works?

I am using this one from Qlik Branch successfully.

Have your tried it and if so then what kind of not working did yo experience.

It worked fine in version 2.0 (server), but in version 3.0 my data doesn't respond on changes in de daterange picker.

So if i select 10-10-2016 to 31-10-2016, my data will just show everything from 1-1-2016.

I have seen it interact badly with other extensions being used in the same qvf.

You could try :

•      Download the latest version of the extension
•      Create a new qvf
•      Only put out of the box visualisations in it
•      Make sure your date field is a suitably formatted date
•      Add the DateRangePicker to it
•      Then see how it behaves

If still no joy, then would be able to upload a zip of the extension you are using and a sample qvf that is having problems with it.

I need it to work in my QVF where I use other extensions.

Do you know with which extensions it doesn't work?

To your test qvf, assuming to works with no other extension, add the other other extension one at a time and see if any of them break it.

From memory I saw it interact badly with the Climber Selection Bar.

Is it possible that it doesn't work with a lot of data?

I tried all my extensions, but it still works in my new QVF, but not in the app I want it to work.
