Hyperlink in a chart

Hello! I have a small query, I have a hyperlink in one of my charts that opens a document, this works fine when I set it as an expression. However, as it's in a Pivot Table it copies this link multiple times whereas really I only want it shown once. So I was thinking of maybe using this as a calculated dimension, does anyone know if this is possible? Many thanks for any help you can offer! Kind Regards, Dayna

Hi Dayna,

You could calculate the URL as a dimension but, at this time, there is no option to tell QlikView that this is a "Link" so it won't be clickable.

As Stephen mentioned this is not workable for a chart dimension.

But, you could have a button with "Open URL" action with the URL parameter (and text):

=only(url)

where "url" is the url field of your data. Then the user can open the URL when one dimension value is selected.
