NPrinting Pictures

Hi folks,

I'm trying to generate reports in NPrinting including dynamical number of pictures.

I'm generating one report (in word) per project... On project can be linked to one or more pictures, up to 10-15... Now I'm looking for a solution that can help me visualising this in a good way.

Is there anyone out there that has done this before and could point me in the right direction?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, but using images in NPrinting with the standard features doesn't help me.

I need to find a way to dynamically show pictures where I don't know the number of pictures to show from the beginning.

If there is always one picture to show there wouldn't be a problem, but in this case there could be one picture or there could be e.g 10 pictures depending on the number of pictures linked to the specific project. The report is then generated cyclic per project id.

Hi Niklas,

Qlik NPrinting can only use objects from QlikView and Qlik Sense applications so if your pictures are not in either of those you cannot use them dynamically in NPrinting. You can of course use images in pre-formatted report templates (company logos for example) but you cannot add external images dynamically.

Take a look at the sample projects attached in these two threads for examples on how you can use images that have been added to a QVW file using Bundle Load:

Thanks for your links Daniel. The solution using levels will not become as good in word as in excel but it might be helpful to me anyhow.
