I've gotten a lot of requests for this extension, and it's not perfect, but hopefully it will work for what is needed.

Since there is no "Fit Zoom to Window" option for WebView, I've created a document extension that automatically zooms the QVW contents to fit the browser window.

This extension does not work in Opera since Opera doesn't seem to support zooming or scaling using CSS. Besides that though, I tested it in all the major browsers and it seemed to work fine.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the post and introducing me to the concept of extensions.

I have installed fitzoomtowindow extension and I am able to see that in Active Extensions(Document Properties-->extensions-->Active Extensions)

but it is not working on my app. I mean, when i try to see the app in webview mode on QV desktop, I am unable to see any difference,, still my dashboard is not in sync with the window.. could you please what are the other possible mistakes that i have done

Hi Brian,

Can you post any example app that worked well please. I see it works with few and not with many.

Not sure if we have to change any document properties.

I tried with common demo apps Like movies database, Get started.. both are not working. Like created one chart out of the window and it did not fit when changed to webview.

It will work for all the applications. I assume, you are adding the extension for each application and necessary settings on the server

Yes Your assumption is correct. It's been added as a document extension and placed in server as well.

But for some reasons it's not working. And we are using IE11 , Will that be a problem ?
