Security rules in sheet level of exporting data

Hi All,

I would like to set up security rule on controlling the right of exporting data in sheet level.

Is it possible to set the rules so that user is able to export data in some sheets and disable to export data in others.

i assume there shouldn't be  a problem

because i created sheet level security that prevented the users access to certain sheets

Hi lironbaram‌‌. I have a question about what you reference in your .pdf document. I am trying a very simple security rule where I create a "tag" or sorts in the description (similar to what you did), but the script doesn't work. If I change the rule to look for a particular object name, it works fine, but as soon as I attempt to reference the description, I get no results. It seems to be an issue with the resource.description reference. I am using Qlik Sense 3.2 SR4. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried the following which produces no results:

((user.group like "*" and resource.description = "GM"))

((user.group like "*" and resource.description like "*GM*"))

Yet, the following produces the expected result:

((user.group like "*" and resource.name like "test*"))

I've tried to create various rules but it always comes back to ExportData being an App level security function, not object based.

If someone managed this, please share.

I tried to implement export security to sheet level, but without success.

I cannot go deeper than App level.
