Hi Community,
We are facing distribution problem with QV9 publisher. Say I have a field Cust_ID having 10 records and publisher should publish the document to all the Cust_IDs. But if there is one grayed out value for Cust_ID, QV9 publisher will fail and will not distribute to the remaining Ids. In other words, it is not able to skip the grayed out values and go to next value. But QV8 publisher was working all fine.
Please let me know the way we can avoid it (preferably using publisher settings).
Apreciate your help as always.
In our application, we have already some selections done(like always one selected value). Due to this, some values get grayed out. but these initial selections are mandatory from user's point of view.
Hi Sharma,
If that is the case then do one thing remove all the initail selections and use on open trigger.
Give it a try.
Hope that helps

Yes. I have already done that and here is what I am doing.
I will remove the initial selections(always one selected value) and then will save it. I have written a macro which will do the initial selections and I fire this macro "on open" i.e. when the report is opened. That way it is working all fine. But the problem is that this works only on thick client i.e. on desktop only. If I am opening the reports in accesspoint, it will do the initial selections but if you hit clear button, all initial selections will go off. So somehow, this is not working proerly when opening using plug-in.
Thanks a lot for taking interest in this issue. Hope that above detail is not confusing you much.
