Cannot see basic tables like Territory2 , UserTerritory2Association from SFDC Connector

Hi Experts ,

we are using the Qlik SFDC connector to connect with SFDC and fetch data from tables.

we are able to download data from Accounts and many other tables from SFDC , but these few tables are not visible in the create query console itself.

Below are few sets of data we are unable to see :

Territory2

Territory2Model

Territory2Type

UserTerritory2Association

, when I checked with SFDC admins regarding the Access of my user id , they said user has all access, and can load the data from data loader in sfdc as well.

Can someone please suggest me , what am I missing.

regards,

Tejas

I have seen this before where some tables do not show. You can try to change the API version in the connector that has worked for me for a similar issue. Here is a quick quote from the manual.

"You can change the API version used by specifying another version in the URL parameter in the Salesforce

Connection dialog. For example, to use API version 30, specify the URL as:

https://login.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/30.0

The API version you use affects the data types available in the Salesforce Connector."

hi Jeff,

now we can access these tables from API 37.

but still some tables like Partner role , Opportunity are giving error.

Is there any API which provides us all the tables from SFDC?

Also right now we have to switch between the API version to create the connection string for e.g.

User get loaded with API version 29

and Territory2 get loaded with API version 37

we are still having issue in loading PartnerRole table.

do we have some permanent solution to this.

In my example I moved to version 21, but this was some time ago. We have now upgraded to a new SFDC connector and have move up to what ever the default API version that it uses. Currently we are not missing any tables that we actively pull. But I think it is just hit or miss when tables are missing. You could try any of the versions between 29 and 37 to see if you can find one were all of your tables show.

Thanks,

Jeff

I do not use the newest version of the SFDC connector. I use the older 64 bit one that has the connect dialog that looks like this below. Adjust the API version as necessary. I am able to see all standard and custom tables we have.

John,

Will that version of the connector work after the TLS 1.0 disablement?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff, I don't know as of yet...will need to look into it more. We're currently using version 11.2 and working to eventually upgrade to version 12 in a few months. Some updating of the SFDC connector will probably happen too. I tried the newer one but it was too finicky.

From the info derived from this page (below) I don't think it will affect QlikView API calls. You can also try it within the sandbox as it should be disabled since June 2016. Prod is scheduled for disablement in March 2017.
