Add value to NULL

Hi,

I have two tables that are linked by one key and i want to add a value to null's..

I have tired:

   if (isnull([field]) or field='',1,0) as test2,

   if(len(trim(field))=0,'0','field') as test,

   istext(field) as test3,

   isnum(field) as test4,

i have also tried:

    SET NullValue='Missing';

   NullAsValue *;

But it dosen't work. What els could i try?

Are they linked or joined together?

They are linked.
