Is an inactive formula calculated in the background

Hello,

just a question about the function to deactivate formulas in the formula TAB.

The QlikView Help says, if a formula is deactivated, it will not be shown within the Object.

So far so good. My question about this feature is, if a formula is deactivated, will this formula be calculated in the background by opening the TAB or not?

Many thanks in advance and best regards,

Claus

I think (not 100% confident) that deactivated expressions don't consume any memory.

How are you deactivating a formula?

There is an option (logical field)  for activation on the formula TAB at my  QlikView Version.

Each formula can deactivated there...

Can you share a screenshot of what you see?

Here is a Screenshot from this TAB in German language.

I have created Objects with some formulas for debuging. I want only activate the formulas for this reason.

On the other hand is the load time of the object already quit long. If a deactivated formula has an effect of the load time I would delete the formulas or create a debug TAB within my application.

Many thanks and best regards,

Claus
