Hi Nihal,

I am very sorry for the late reply.

Were you able to implement https?

I have followed exactly the steps from QlikView And IIS  document. Let me know if you need any other info if you have not implemented yet.

Thanks

Hi Aarohi,

Thank you for getting back to me on this.

I have tried couple of times and the result is different....first I got AccessPoint in HTTPS not QMC and in my second attempt I can able to open the QMC by using HTTPS but not the AccessPoint, I am trying this by creating a self signed certificate and not having a valid certificate from authorized provider.

Just a thought is this because of the certificate issue? or any other issue please advise...

Thanks,

Nihal

F5 Loadbalancer also can handle auto redirection.

Hi,

The QMC is not using IIS and so, setting up SSL on IIS doesn't do anything for the QMC.

Look at the last section of the attached document. This document is old and hasn't been updated, so have a backup of your system before trying to use it.

Hi,

No, but you can use headers.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your reply.

In my case, I am trying to setup SSL certificate working with QVWS by following the "QlikViewAndIIS.DOCX" but I can able to open only one i.e. either 'Access Point' or 'QMC' by using HTTPS but not both.

I am still having the old version of QlikView Sever and the version is: 11.00.11154 IR

My services are:

QlikView Directory Service

QlikView Distribution Service

QlikView Management Service

QlikView Server

QlikView WebServer

While installing the QV Server I didn't installed the QlikView Settings Service and IIS components (actually I don't have option to enable the IIS), so is it mandatory to install them even though I want to use it with QlikView WebServer.

Would you please guide me on this, so that I can open 'Access Point' and 'QMC' by using https.

Thanks,

Nihal
