Query on Performance Data Collector template in QVScalability Tools

Hello All,

We are using “QVScalabilityTools_1_1 64Bit” tool for load testing QlikView Dashboard. I had a question on the Configuration of Performance Data Collector. The package contains “Processes_template.xml” which has to be used for creating new data collector set.

1. Can this xml be used as is for Distributed Environment (Qlikview Publisher and Qlikview Server on different box)? Or any customization needs to be done specific to environment.
2. Will the Performance Counter Logs capture all the data required by the SCAnalyzer_ with this xml to analyze the results?

Hi,

     Although qvb processes are indeed included in the provided template the scanalyzer does not have graphs to display data for the publisher (i.e. you would need to add them yourself). The scalability tool is not focused on the publisher side of things. For a publisher focus please see Publisher Analyzer Tool . The scanalyzer does however handle clustered qvs', in this case set up the data collector set on all nodes, then link them together using TestLogMeta.txt which can be accessed in the QVD generator.
