Deleting variable in Qlik Sense

After deleting a variable which is created in front end through Variable overview in Qlik Sense Hub, the variable appears again if I reopen the app again.

There is no 'Save' button on the front end of Hub.

It should get deleted.

I believe you following this ?

Click on edit>Lower left variable button>Select the variable>Delete it>Close.

if that doesn't work follow same process, save the app and re open it.

But it shouldn't happen and get deleted with no problem at all.

Upload screen shots if you can?

Hi Vignesh ,

Try like this

LET varname=null(); in the script and then delete it from the front also this will delete the variable  permanently

This is not a script variable. I have created this through front end in QlikSense Hub. I am not using QlikSense Desktop. After deleting the variable in front end, the variable reappears whenever I reopen the application.

Yes , that is a know issue we have to delete the variable from both the ends i.e. from the Script and as well in the front end otherwise it won't get deleted ...
